Only products purchased on the www.ayamaliving.com website can be returned to Ayama for a refund or exchange. Products purchased from a speciality retailer or elsewhere must be returned to their original place of purchase.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we regret we cannot offer you a refund or return.

In all cases, original proof of purchase must be provided and Products must be returned within 14 days of receipt for Ayama to process any refund or exchange. Please email [email protected] in advance of your intention to return or exchange a Product, so that we can assist you with your transaction.


To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and we will let you know where to send the Product.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item and for the dispatch of the new item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrectly  Sent Products

Should a Product be damaged while it is being shipped to you, Ayama. will provide you with a full refund or exchange subject to receiving photo evidence whiting 48 hours. Return postage will be refunded in the case of damaged, defective or incorrectly sent Products and a refund will be issued through the method of payment.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

Please email us at [email protected] and we will let you you know where to return your Product.

Please retain your postal receipt until you are certain your parcel has been safely received by Ayama. We may need to see this if we fail to receive your package.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
